We Started With a Dog Named Ello.
A New York story about style, home, and the love of a good dog.
It started the way most good things do — not with a grand plan, but with a moment.
Harper was redecorating her Brooklyn apartment on a Sunday afternoon, surrounded by fabric swatches and half-unpacked boxes, when her dog Ello — a scruffy, endlessly enthusiastic terrier mix — grabbed one of her carefully selected throw pillows and trotted off proudly with it in his mouth.
She laughed so hard she cried. And then she thought: why don't beautiful things exist for him too?
The Idea That Became Harper & Ello
We started Harper & Ello because we believed something simple: the people who care about how their home looks, how they dress, and how they live — those same people love their pets deeply. And their pets deserve to be part of that world.
